Bijenhallen en –standen in de wereld
In 2011 bestaat de bijenhal van de Wase Imkersbond 25 jaar. De WIB is één van de 93 imkerverenigingen in Vlaanderen. De bijenhal staat op Hof ter Saksen, het gemeentelijk arboretum en park van de gemeente Beveren. Dit 14 ha grote park is voor het publiek vrij toegankelijk en herbergt tal van plantencollecties De bijenhal is 8 m lang, is opgebouwd uit een stevige constructie met zadeldak en bekleed met ruwe planken, wat ze een rustiek uitzicht geeft. Zo past ze perfect in deze groene omgeving. De hal kan tot 14 bijenkasten bevatten. In het kader van de viering van “25 jaar bijenhal” plannen wij een toonstelling met als thema “Bijenhallen en -standen in de wereld”. Het doel van deze expo is de honingbij en de imkerij op een niet alle daagse wijze bij een zeer breed publiek te promoten. Om deze tentoonstelling te kunnen uitbouwen doen wij een beroep op de medewerking van alle imkers en fotofanaten van de ganse wereld. Vandaar deze oproep. Beschikt u zelf over een bijenhal, kent u één of meerdere hallen of opmerkelijke standen in uw omgeving, beschikt u eventueel over foto’s genomen in het buitenland; stuur ons dan uw digitale materiaal, clichés of afgedrukte foto’s door. Beschikt u over oude foto’s, prenten, postkaarten, affiches of brochures over dit thema dan zijn deze zeker ook welkom. Bezorg ons in de mate van het mogelijke eveneens zo veel mogelijk informatie van het ter beschikking gestelde materiaal zoals de locatie ( land, gemeente, dorp of stad) soort stand of bijenkasten en een korte beschrijving. Vergeet ook zeker niet uw persoonlijk gegevens te vermelden. Alle ter beschikking gesteld materiaal kan - indien gewenst - na de expositie kosteloos terug bezorgd worden. Aan deze tentoonstelling is een wedstrijd verbonden voor de verschillende categorieën met tal van mooie prijzen waaronder een gepersonaliseerde Belgische postzegel. Het publiek zal de enige jury zijn.
U zou ons ook kunnen helpen door deze oproep zo vaak en zo ver mogelijk over de wereld te verspreiden. Deze oproep is ook beschikbaar in het Frans, Duits en het Spaans Wij houden alle inzenders op de hoogte over de evolutie en de juiste datum van deze tentoonstelling. Elke inzender krijgt alvast een uitnodiging en een mooie fotoreportage van de expositie.

En 2011 le rucher du « Wase Imkersbond » (WIB - Association des Apiculteurs du Pays de Waas) célèbre son 25ième anniversaire. Le WIB est l’une des 200 associations d’apiculteurs en Belgique. Le rucher se trouve dans l’arboretum Hof ter Saksen de la commune de Beveren-Waas. Ce parc municipal de 30 hectares est librement accessible au public et abrite de nombreuses espèces végétales du monde entier. Le rucher a une longueur de 8 m, est de construction robuste revêtue de planches brutes avec un toit en pente , ce qui lui donne un aspect rustique. Il s’intègre ainsi parfaitement dans son milieu verdoyant. La halle peut contenir jusqu’à 14 ruches.
Dans le cadre de cette célébration nous organisons une exposition sur le thème « Les ruchers et espacement d’abeilles dans le monde ». L’objectif de cette exposition est de promouvoir l’abeille et l’apiculture d’une manière non conventionnelle, visant un large public. Afin de développer cette exposition, nous faisons appel à la coopération d’apiculteurs et passionnés de la photo du monde entier. Possédez vous un rucher, connaissez vous des ruchers ou des stands remarquables dans votre région, possédez vous des photos prises à l’étranger, alors envoyez nous vos photos digitales, imprimées ou sous forme de clichés. Les anciennes photos, estampes, cartes postales, affiches ou brochures sur ce thème seraient aussi les bienvenues. Envoyez nous également le plus d’information possible à propos du matériel mis à disposition, tels l’emplacement (pays, ville, village), le type de rucher, et une brève description du stand. N’oubliez surtout pas de mentionner vos données personnelles afin de pouvoir retourner le matériel mis à disposition, si souhaité. L’exposition donnera lieu à un concours dans les différentes catégories avec de nombreux prix, en outre un timbre personnalisé des photos gagnantes. Le jury sera composé du public uniquement !
Vous pouvez nous aider en ébruitant autour de vous et en propageant cet appel à travers le monde. Cet appel est disponible en anglais, allemand, néerlandais et espagnol.

In 2011 the apiary of « the Wase Imkersbond » (WIB - Beekeepers Association of Waasland) celebrates its 25th anniversary. The WIB is one of the more than 200 associations of beekeepers in Belgium. The apiary is located in Hof ter Saksen, the municipal park and botanical garden of the municipality Beveren-Waas. This 30 hectare park is freely accessible to the public and has numerous species of plants. The 8 metres long apiary is a sturdy construction covered with rough timber and a pitched roof, giving it a rustic look. It thus fits perfectly in its green environment. The hall can contain up to 14 beehives.
As part of the celebration “25 years of Apiary” we are planning an exhibition on the theme “Apiaries in the world”. The purpose of this exhibition is to promote the bee and beekeeping in a way accessible to a wide public. To realise this exhibition, we call upon the cooperation of beekeepers and photo enthusiasts from around the world. Are you the owner of an apiary, do you know one or several halls or significant stands in your neighbourhood or do you have maybe pictures taken in other countries, please be so kind to send us your digital material, negatives or prints. Old photographs, postcards, posters or brochures about this theme are of course welcome. Can you join perhaps a brief description of the pictures such as the location (country, city, village), kind of stand or type of hives. Do not forget to give us your personal details (name, address, e-mail, etc.) in order to return all submitted material, if so wished.
The exhibition comes with a competition in different categories with numerous prizes, including a personalized Belgian stamp of the winning photos. The public will be the only jury!

Das WIB ist einer der +/- 200 Imkerverbände in Belgien. Das Bienenhaus steht im Hof ter Saksen, dem Arboretum der Gemeinde Beveren. Dieser 30 Hektar große Park ist frei zugänglich und ist die Heimat von zahlreichen Pflanzen-Sammlungen Das Bienenhaus ist 8 m lang und is ein einem robustes Gebäude bedeckt mit rohen Brettern mit Satteldach, was es ein rustikales Aussehen gibt. Es passt perfekt in dieser Grünanlage. Das Haus kann bis zu 14 Bienenstöcke enthalten. Im Rahmen der Feier "25 Jahre Bienenhaus " planen wir eine Ausstellung zum Thema " Bienenhäuser und Stöcke in der Welt". Der Zweck dieser Ausstellung ist die Biene und die Imkerei auf eine unkonventionelle Art und Weise bei einem breiten Publikum zu fördern. Um diese Ausstellung zu erweitern, hoffen wir auf die Zusammenarbeit aller Imker und Fotobegeisterten aus der ganzen Welt. Daher diese Aufforderung. Besitzen Sie selbst ein Bienenhaus, wissen Sie ein oder mehrere Bienenhäuser oder Bienenstände in erheblichem Umfang in Ihrer Nähe, haben Sie Fotos gemacht im Ausland, schicken Sie uns bitte Ihre digitalen Materialen, Druckplatten oder gedruckte Fotos. Haben Sie alte Fotos, Drucke, Postkarten, Plakate und Broschüren zu diesem Thema, dann sind die natürlich auch herzlich willkommen. Schicken Sie uns bitte soweit wie möglich, eine Kurzanleitung zu dem zur Verfügung gestellten Material wie den Standort (Land, Stadt, Dorf oder Stadt), den Typ oder Sorte Bienenstock und so weiter. Vergessen Sie bitte auch nicht Ihre persönlichen Daten zu erwähnen. Alle zur Verfügung gestellten Materialien können - falls erforderlich - nach der Messe kostenlos zurückgegeben werden.
An dieser Ausstellung ist für die verschiedenen Kategorien ein Wettbewerb verbunden mit zahlreichen Preisen, einschließlich einer personalisierten belgischen Briefmarke. Das Publikum wird die einzige Jury sein Sie könnten uns auch helfen, in dem Sie diesen Aufruf so oft und so weit wie möglich auf der ganzen Welt verbreiten. Dieser Aufruf steht auch in französisch, englisch und spanisch. Wir werden alle Mitwirkenden über die Entwicklung und den genauen Zeitpunkt der Ausstellung informieren. Jeder Teilnehmer erhält auf jeden Fall eine Einladung und eine exklusive Fotoreportage der Ausstellung.

Pabellones de abejas y apiarios en el mundo
En el año 2011 el pabellón de abejas de la asociación de apicultores de la región Waasland (Flandes, Bélgica) celebrará el vigesimoquinto año de su existencia. El WIB (Wase Imkersbond) es una de las 200 asociaciones de apicultores que cuenta Bélgica.
El pabellón de abejas está situado en el “Hof ter Saksen”, el arboretum municipal y parque de la municipalidad de Beveren. Este parque de 30 hectáreas está abierto al público y hospeda varias colecciones de plantas. El pabellón de abejas tiene 8 metros de largo, su construcción es sólida con tejado a dos vertientes y está revestido de tablas rugosas, lo que le da un aspecto rústico. Por eso queda perfectamente en el entorno verde. El pabellón puede contener hasta 14 colmenas.
Para la celebración de los “25 años del pabellón de abejas” planeamos una exposición bajo el tema “Pabellones de abejas y apiarios en el mundo”. El objetivo de esta exposición es de dar a conocer la abeja y el apiario de una manera poca común y a un público muy amplio. Para poder organizar esta exposición apelamos a la colaboración de todos los apicultores y fanáticos de la fotografía del mundo entero. Por eso este llamamiento.
¿Tiene usted un pabellón de abejas o conoce a uno o varios pabellones o apiarios excepcionales en su entorno, a lo mejor dispone de fotos realizadas en el extranjero? ¡ Mándenos su material digital, clichés o copias!
¿Dispone usted de fotos antiguas, posters o folletos sobre este tema?, también nos interesan. Por favor, nos entreguen, si es posible, también la máxima información sobre el material entregado, como el lugar (país, municipalidad, pueblo o ciudad), tipo de apiario o colmenas y una descripción corta. Después de la exposición les devolveremos gratuitamente todo el material puesto a disposición, si lo desean.
Todos los participantes a la exposición participarán a un concurso para las distintas categorías con muchos premios bonitos, entre ellos un sello belga personalizado. El público será el único jurado.
